"Waiting on the World to Change" Dance Visual
by Dania Alvarez
For our Spring 25' new color way tee shirt release, we created a powerful dance visual to the song Waiting on the World to Change. This piece features six talented female dancers, each wearing a different color tee from our new spring collection. The focus on female dancers aligns with our brand's dedication to celebrating women artists, especially during the month of March.
The song was chosen for its relevance to the current social and political climate in America. As an artist, expressing myself through movement felt like a natural way to convey a message! The choreography tells a story of frustration and fatigue, capturing the feeling of being overwhelmed by the world’s challenges. However, it also carries an underlying sense of optimism and unity, reminding us that change is possible when we come together.
What made this project even more special was how organically it all came together. We had dancers who traveled from Texas and Florida to Louisiana to be a part of the project, moms who had their babies at the park with their fathers while we filmed, it truly embodied the spirit of collaboration. Filming took place at the local Betty Virginia Park, where we had the chance to interact with the community. One of the most heartwarming moments came when a little girl named Andy Kate was playing nearby, blowing bubbles. Her bubbles flew right over to where we were filming, and her mom offered for her to continue blowing them as we shot. We couldn’t pass up the chance to add that whimsical spark to the visual!
Additionally, the dancers in this project represent a beautiful range of backgrounds, with different races and ethnicities, showing the diversity and inclusivity that are at the heart of our brand. Even more empowering is that the entire crew behind this project was made up of women, including the talented female cinematographer, creatively known as MEDU$A JIELLE, who brought the visual to life! Through this, we not only showcased our clothing collection but also celebrated unity, creativity, and the power of an all-female artistic team.

318 Day at Caddo Common Park: The First ‘Art Can Change the World’ Pop-Up
Shreveport’s 318 Day is always a special moment for the city—a day to celebrate our culture, our creativity, and our community. But this year’s event at Caddo Common Park was even more meaningful because it was the launch site for our first-ever Art Can Change the World pop-up.
From the very start, the energy was electric. The crowd showed up not just to enjoy the music, food, and festivities but to truly support local artistry. People stopped by the pop-up to grab our exclusive Art Can Change the World merch, and the love was real—shirts, hoodies, and accessories were flying off the table. It was incredible to see so many people resonate with the message: art is more than creativity—it’s a movement.
Collaboration with 318 Day Headliners
One of the most exciting parts of the day was collaborating with some of the event’s biggest headliners to help spread the Art Can Change the World message. Musicians like Rachard Dennis, Chaynler Joie, and Edi Keys rocked the stage while rocking the brand, making a powerful statement that art—in every form—has the power to inspire and uplift.
And we can’t forget the DJs who kept the energy flowing: DJ Yoshi and Josh Scott brought the vibes, and seeing them in the merch while controlling the crowd was a moment that truly captured the essence of what we’re building.
A Sneak Peek at Future Drops
The pop-up wasn’t just about what’s happening now—it was about where we’re headed. We gave the community an exclusive preview of upcoming drops inspired by the artists who helped make 318 Day unforgettable. Each musician brought their unique flavor to the city, and that energy will be reflected in new pieces dropping soon.
This is just the beginning. Art Can Change the World isn’t just a phrase—it’s a movement that’s growing with every person who believes in the power of creativity to make an impact. Thank you, Shreveport, for making our first pop-up one to remember!
Stay tuned—there’s more coming.
With love,
KD
